I drove to Loveland Pass on April 20, 2008 and let me assure you, there is still
a lot of snow up there! Here is the view facing the east: You can see Interstate 70 way down there in the valley.

There were many backcountry skiers enjoying themselves up there.
Just look at the size of the snow banks beside the road. Here is the view of Highway 6 as I
faced the west side of the divide.
