My friend Dave and I arrived at the Continental Divide on Highway 180 (just outside of Silver City, New Mexico) just as the sun was setting! The photo above is the view to the east, which displayed some really beautiful pink and purple shades. This is my favorite photo from this spot! 
The sunset to the west wasn't too impressive for New Mexico standards, but hey, it was a really nice evening. 
Interestingly, Dave and I stopped at this unnamed pass earlier in the afternoon. The glare of the sun made picture taking fairly difficult, but I did manage this creative photo of myself and Dave. ;) We were enroute on Highway 180 westbound just to go for a drive, talk and play some music.
