This unnamed peak is located approximately two miles south of Cottonwood Pass right on the Continental Divide. On the morning of July 4, 2007, above timberline and enjoyed having the peak all to myself!
On the summit, here is one of the views facing west of the divide. The large open valley is known as Taylor Park with Taylor Park Reservoir as the large body of water.
The view east of the divide includes Mt. Yale (far left - the mountain way out there), Turner Peak (the closer pointed peak) and Mt. Princeton (back right - the mountain way out there). Traveling down the main canyon will lead to the town of Buena Vista, Colorado. Lost Lake - My recent hike to Lost Lake, situated below this unnamed peak on the east side of the divide.
